“I am aware, but when we are alone I do not wish for you to see me as such. I am merely Margaery, a lady whom you may speak with.” There was a place for formality and in situations like this, there was no need for it. “I wish for us to still be sisters.” She smiled down at the young woman, she’d always wanted a sister and she saw glimpses of what that may have been like when in the presence of the Stark girl.

“I am not used to such chills but I believe that winter is a beautiful thing. I was able to go north once. Myself and my father visited White Harbor, I wish we could have ventured higher.”

                  Sisters.

                   Impossible now for Sansa is married to a whole other family. Any familial titles are by association only. in fact, it makes Sansa wonder for a moment what she will be. A good aunt? It seems so impossible, it makes her feel so helpless. She is now  Lannister and Margaery a Baratheon. They are not sisters. Not in the way they were supposed to be.

                  Still, she smiles and ducks her head and lets herself half believe Margaery.

                  “I want the same thing,” Sansa says but you don’t always get what you want. 

                  “Did you really? That must have been wonderful– were you able to visit the Sept of Snow?” It’s genuine interest that creates the conversation and Sansa continues, a little more shy this time. “I would have liked it if you came to visit, I think. It would have been fun.”
